Kimberly Backs
My friends call me Kimmie, I am 45 years young and I grew up in a small town called Marion, IN. I am a proud Midwestern girl who loves the Chicago Cubs, lighthouses, Grey's Anatomy and ANIMALS!! I truly love being the owner/operator of Happy Tails and seeing all of those sweet faces. Personally, I am the the parent to Lola, Elliot and Olivia (1 dog and 2 cats), they keep me very busy. I wouldn't have it any other way! "When I look into the eyes of an animal, I see a living being. I see a friend. I feel a soul." A.D. Williams
Nicky Marshall:
Hi! I'm Nicky, 35 years old, originally from the other side of the pond (Germany and the UK to be precise), and I have been living in the Brandon/Riverview area for almost three years. My husband Mike and I have a habit of adopting the "unadoptable" pets, and are the proud parents of Bill, Bitzi, Beau and Bruce - 3 dogs and a bearded dragon, each with their own unique issues. I adore animals, and just want them to be happy and be taken care of, which is why I love what I do. Though my crew is usually a little unimpressed when I come home smelling of other animals, I will love and treat your animals, whether furry, or scaly or even bald, like my own, and can't wait to meet them!
We are proud to serve the areas of Riverview, Gibsonton, Apollo Beach, and Ruskin, FL.

"I have never left my dogs with anyone for more than a week at a time, and even then, they were with family only. This year was finally time for me to take a vacation for myself and I forced to leave my dogs. Under no circumstances would I ever trust just anyone, and I really wanted my dogs to still be on their routine so that they weren't in too much shock. Not only were Kimmie and Adina very flexible and willing to mirror our regular schedule they sent regular updates, videos, and photos I was able to enjoy my vacation without a doubt at all that Zoe and Zane were in the best hands possible, and even if I did worry for a moment, it wasn't long before I got an update with a happy picture and was immediately at ease. They were attentive to my dogs and even noticed when a couple things were off, such as little runny poop. They were also very patient with my giant puppy who can be a bit of a handful! I will never again have to decline a vacation because I won't leave my dogs or board them. Thank you so much for the trust I am able to place in you, your genuine care for animals of all kinds, and for understanding that our family members with paws are a priority to our household. Thank you again for providing a service that I have confidence in for my dogs safety and comfort!"

"Adina and Kim have been "sitting" for our dogs now for five years !! The compassion shown by both of them is why we feel comfortable and secure leaving our fur babies in their care. I remember last year when I told Adina she did not have to stay over night at the house, and she told me she couldn't bear to leave them overnight! Dependable, honest, and compassionate.

"Fantastic company. Great staff. Superb service. Does not get any better than this! We've used Happy Tails and have been very happy with the service and care of our pets. The pet sitter is always great about giving updates while we are gone. We are very satisfied and will continue to work with Happy Tails."
